Kim
Chief Strategy Officer
Chris Kim is the Partner and Chief Strategy Officer of the Management Company. Prior to launching Terafirma in 2018, Chris worked at Automatic Data Processing as the Chief Data Officer leading various key data science/analytics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning initiatives. Previously, he worked at KPMG in an IT risk and advisory capacity. He has also worked at various fortune 500 financial companies such as Citi Group and Bear Stearns as a quantitative analyst. Chris graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a B.S. and M.S. in Information Systems and Quantitative Analytics. Chris has been involved in cryptocurrencies since 2010 in various capacities. In addition, Chris holds several IT Security certifications.
Louis
Deery
Chief of Business Development
Louis Deery is a Partner and Chief of Business Development of the Management Company. Prior to launching Terafirma in 2018, he traded agricultural commodities extensively in both physical and derivative markets. He traded at Lansing Trade Group supplying multinational food companies' core raw materials. He also ran a proprietary trading book, while most recently coordinated risk management, global procurement and supply chain functions for a major shipping & integrated agricultural conglomerate. He graduated with distinction from the University of Kansas with a B.S. in Business Administration.
Ara Kantardjian is a Partner and Chief Operating Officer of the Management Company. Prior to launching Terafirma in 2018, Ara worked at Automatic Data Processing (ADP) as an Executive Vice President of Global Business Transformation focusing on major business process and digital corporate transformations. Previously, he was at KPMG and performed business technology management and continuous service improvement for the Technology organization. After obtaining a B.A. in Business Management and Masters in Business Administration, Ara continued on to obtain a Master Certificate in Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from Villanova University
